Good Omen?
Since it was reported that Kelechi Iheanacho of the golden eaglet's fame was on his way to start a professional career with man city. I was skeptical about such move, my argument was that man city does not have a youth strucure for the likes of kelechi. Now, that the news has filtered in regarding a change of destination for this super talent, I am relieved that his career will not crash even before it starts! The President's aides!
I have strong reservations for the likes of especially Chief Doyin Okupe who has been quite consistent with praise singing of successive governments irrespective of quality of governance. The other is Reuben Abati who I have great respect while he was at the Guardian Nigeria. I am not sure if he still has a mind of his own! Thats quite sad. Most of the time they lack objectivity in their response to national matters which really beats my imagination. They need be reminded that will not always remain ir their respective position forever!

President Jonathan replies Ex president Obasanjo!
The president eventually brokes his silence with regards to the open letter by ex president Obasanjo! I have read part of the reply and I can see that it was a reply well written and meant to clarify critical issues raised by his predecessor as his silence would have been seen as assent. It is not the class of your certificate that determines your destiny but your character.

A season of open letters!
The drama of open letters started with Ex president Olusegun Obasanjo to incumbent president Goodluck Jonathat firing the first salvo by raising critical issues about the Jonathan administation ranging from corruption, the menace of the boko haram sect, formation of a killer squad etc. It didnt take before Obj got his own fair share of open letter from no other person than Iyabo obasanjo. It is not enough to write open letters but concerted effort should be made to address issues raised in these weighty letters. You as early as when I was in primary going to secondary I had seen Nigeria as sitting on a keg of gun powder waiting to explode! Surprisingly over twenty years down the line the gun powder refuses to explode! Can I say it is divine? It may not be far from it I suppose as the divine purpose will always and necessarily overide man's plans and intentions. I am tired of these open letters meant to heat up the polity without concrete solutions!

Whither Rivers State Police Command!
The recent court judgement in favour of the Rivers state assembly to resume sitting after been taken over by the National Assembly some months back is a welcome development. What I don't really understand is why the leadership of the Rivers state police command refuses to enforce the court ruling thereby raising questions as to its integrity and at the same time seen to be behaving like touts in the face of the critical public observers. The running battle between the police and the state executive is an embarrassment to both institutions and should be addressed with every sense of objectivity instead of playing deadly politics!

Sleep well Mandela! Your legacy lives on.
I woke up this day to learn of the death of one of the world's most reverred leaders and Africa's pride Nelson Mandela. What a sacsrifice he made for south africans? Such is really seen. He represents alot to different people but all are positives. He is the father of modern south africa. There are so much to write about him but let me apply the breaks for now. Adieu Nelson Mandela!

Another baby factory!
What is this country turning into? The other time a baby was discovered we all thought that was the end until recently another baby factory was discovered in Imo state, south east Nigeria . What could be adduced for this criminal act? Poverty? Quest to get rich by all means? Moral decadence? Negligence by parents of their teenage girls? Whatever the reason that may be adduced the act is despicable and must be condemned in its entirety! My Birthday!
Its my birthday today! Join me in celebrating God's faithfulness to the philosopher king!
ASUU STRIKE, THE DRAMA CONTINUES.
It is a shame that up until this moment the Assu strike lingers even after the much publicised meeting with Pres. Jonathan. If you ask me maybe we should look beyond this year. Its my opinion.
