The Super Eagles: Work in Progress

The Fifa confederation cup has come and gone as far as the super eagles participation is concerned. But there are one or two things to take home. The tournament exposed further the new super eagles in a more competitive front going by the opposition from spain and uruguay especially. The Super Eagles may not have been disgraced but I believe could have done better if they have taken their chances. The frontline of the super eagles is defective especially with regards to finishing aside the absence of key players like Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike, the frontline still needs to be fortified so that there will lots of options unlike what bedevilled the team at the confed cup. May I advise Coach Stephen Keshi to give the likes of Osaze Odemwigie, Obafemi Martins, Ik Uche another chance. This is not the time for ego tripping at all. Let the best represent Nigeria!
