The senior staff association of Nigerian universities has embarked embarked on an indefinite strike to compel the federal government to rescind its decision to vice Chancellors to remove a section of university staff from its payroll. Those affected d are the staff of the primary and secondary within the university. This was the outcome of an emergency congress held by its university of Benin cchapter.
