Congrats Super Eagles!

The game of football is about goals. It was as though Nigeria was heading for a defeat until the table turned against the smooth playing ethiopians. It was a day the ethiopians played far better than nigeria especially in the first half. This result puts nigeria firmly on their way to brasil 2014! I am sure nigeria will the job done in the second leg. The super eagles deserves a hearty congratultion from moi!

A WINNER EMERGES!

The PDP candidate in the just concluded delta central senatorial bye election E.E Aguariavwodo seem to have won the election in what looks like a landslide victory! I believe its time for the urhobo nation to move forward and attain enviable heights and take its rightful place! Urhobo wa doo!

Bye election fever grips delta central!

It is quite tensed in delta central where the bye election to fill the vacant seat in the senate is on. On the ground assessment shows that the election is frought with delays and low voter turnout. I am particularly surprised as I expected a far better turnout. INEC doesn't seem to have overcome the challenge of late arrival of voting materials. I am still at the unit where am, expected to vote having left home very early to perform my civic duty!

Delta central senatorial bye election; who wins?

The stage is now set for the bye election to fill the vacant seat of the delta central senatorial seat upon the demise of senator pius ewverido. It is straight fight between the candidate of the PDP,APC and DPP come 12 october 2013, who previously held the post. As we all know the delta central senatorial district is predominantly occupied by the urhobos and has eight of the twenty five local councils in the state. The winner of the bye election will by implication give an idea of the party that will produce the next governor of the state come 2015 that has been held by the PDP since 1999. From moi I wish all the parties great and healthy contest. My appeal is that all and sundry should shun electoral violence, political thuggery and ballot snatching etc. The time has come for the aforementioned to be a thing of the past. I am going to exercise my civic right by voting for the candidate of my choice!

TIME TO LEARN! PHILOSOPHY 101.

This is an introduction to philosophy as a course of study. Yours truly read philosophy as his first degree and thought you should have a feel of my course of study in the university. Funny enough, I never knew or heard of the word philosophy until I gained admission to read it. It left me far better than the course I initially intended to study. I have no regrets studying philosophy at all! Now what is philosphy? It is gotten from two greek words 'philo' and 'sophia' which means 'love of wisdom'. There are countless definitions of philosohy whose words originated from pythagoras the philospher behind the pythagoras theorem in mathematics. Let this definition suffice which is that it studies the fundamental nature of existence, of man, and of man's relationship to existence. While a philosophy is a comprehensive system of ideas about human nature and the nature of the reality we live in. It is a guide for living, because the problems it addresses are basic and pervasive, determining the course we take in life and how we treat other people.

Good morning friends!

I am so on top of the world for the Lord's mercies upon my life, family and precious friends. This day must cooperate with us for joy to be full. There will not be any carryover of our due blessings in Jesus, name. I can see a new beginning. Praise the Lord!

Pres. Jonathan and 2015.

The media has been awash with speculation as to whether the President is going to return to contest in 2015 for a considerable time now. The president in his wisdom has preferred to be evasive in that he wishes to focus on the present tenure and deliver on his electoral promises to Nigerians. The president is in order as between now and 2015 u just can never tell what can happen because that is the exclusive preserve of the Almighty God. It is not in the place of the president to determine that unless of course he wants to play God. But if my opinion is sought as to whether the president would contest then my answer will be in the affirmative and will almost certainly win! Why? We still dont have a credible opposition to change the course of government at that level. The opposition could do well in the states and local government and that is my take. While 2015 is yet to come let me advice the media to shift the attention of Nigerians to more pressing developmental challenges and emphasize less on speculation surrounding the 2015 elections. The Philosopher king has spoken!

Not Again!

As unpredictable as it is plane crashes sometimes could be avoided or prevented. This brings to question the plane crash involving the remains of Segun Agagu ex ondo state Governor and others on board. What exactly was wrong that could not be detected especially when it is observed that the plane had not even gone far at all! It is strange that a plane carrying the dead could still crash? Does it bear any metaphysical interpretation? Well, it remains to be seen but from my little understanding it doesn't appear to be a good sign! A sad development as this should provoke our reason for existence and make swift reconciliiation with our maker wher we fall short. And thereafter continue to live right.

Happy birthday Nigeria!

Just want to congratulate all of us that are Nigerians both within and in the diaspora! It is a thing of Joy to mark our 53 years of independence. We may not be where we desire to be as a nation but sure we are not where we used to be before independence. Whatever the challenges we face as a nation are not insurmountable and peculiar to us only. That is why we must with one voice rise against that which has bedevilled us as a nation. I am proud to be a Nigerian irrespective of what others say or think cos I really don't have any other country I can call my own. So, it behoves on us to make the Nigerian dream a reality. Now, I handover Nigeria to HIM That is able to do exceedingly and above more than we can ever think or ask to beautify Nigeria and make it truly great for all of us!
