Big Brother Africa. Any Essence?

It started in 2003 and was welcomed into the homes of africans especially Nigerians gladly. Now, overtime one begins to question the very essence of the show which is more alien to the very culture of decency africans are known for before. Nudity is the other of the day. Sex is common place. One wonders what the show seeks to promote. Is it cross cultural ties then it can be better shared through other medium than this one. I have been trying to see the very essence of the program and its attendant benefits but could find none other than making a celebrity out of the winner who must have made undue compromises along the way! What am I saying? That the show should be scrapped and DSTV should look for other ways of making money not at the detriment of the cultural identity of the African!
